She holds a Ph.D. in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, 2008). She has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 1986), a Master’s degree in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, 1998), and a specialization in Technology, Architecture, and City from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy (1995). She is a Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism and the Postgraduate Program in Architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), a CNPq Researcher (PQ 2). She is a research professor at the Center for Contemporary Spatial Studies at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo/IAU-USP. She was a visiting professor at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany) in 2022. She received the FAPERJ Young Scientist of Our State Scholarship (2018-2022). She coordinated the Graduate Program in Architecture at PUC-Rio in 2012-13 and was responsible for its implementation. She currently coordinates the Là – Laboratory of Architectural Analysis, linked to the same program. She is a co-leader of the research group “Ecopolitical-Poetic Cartographies,” based at PUC-Rio, and is part of the CUAL-Comum Urbano in Latin America research group, based at UFPR. She is the author, co-author, or organizer of several articles and books and contributes to national and international collections. Areas of expertise: history, theory, and critique of architecture and the city, with an emphasis on modern and contemporary production.
