The Master’s Course of PPGArq, with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and extension since its creation (2013), aims to train students to work in professional practice and to educate teachers or researchers for the field of architecture and urbanism.
The Master’s Course intends, therefore, to educate a professional and/or teacher with a strong theoretical and conceptual foundation. It also aims to educate professionals and/or teachers with a critical stance towards current issues and a solid understanding of the methods and processes that structure architectural and urban design practices.
The objective is, therefore, to train a professional capable of working in the multiple domains of architecture and urbanism, whether in the public or private sphere, with a strong potential for nucleation and social insertion – both in Brazil and abroad (especially in Latin American countries).
