The Architecture and Urbanism Model Office (EMAU) is an integral part of the organizational structure of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Rio. EMAU is characterized by the integration of theoretical and practical aspects of the academic content taught in the undergraduate course in Architecture and Urbanism, offering in its environment conditions similar to those of professional practice, with a dedicated focus on the development of socially-oriented projects and projects for the university campus.
The EMAU team consists of students from the undergraduate course in Architecture and Urbanism at DAU/PUC-Rio under the supervision of a professor, and depending on the complexity or scope of the work, other professors are incorporated into our team.
