Verônica Rodrigues in memoriam

Professor Verônica (1957/2012) held a title in Architecture and Urbanism from the Bennett Methodist Institute (1983) and a Master's in Letters from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2006). She was a consultant on the project for the creation of the Architecture course in 2001 and since 2002 she was a professor at the University.
According to her father, the architect Sergio Rodrigues, who was a partner in the Sergio Rodrigues Design and Furniture office, since his childhood Veronica had shown interest in architecture, she used to spend time in his design shop and helped him to arrange furniture on the balcony of the apartment where they lived. He said that she liked to live in a different house from the others.
Her sweetness, competence and friendship were key factors in the construction of the Architecture and Urbanism course at PUC-Rio
