Claudia Miranda in memoriam

Claudia Miranda (1967-2014), Professor and Supervisor of Project IV of the Architecture and Urbanism Course PUC-Rio.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Professor Claudia Miranda graduated as an architect and urbanist from FAU-UFRJ in 1991, where she returned to the first group of the Masters in Urban Design by PROURB / UFRJ. He worked in the offices LPC and Azul, before founding MIRA Arquitetura in the year 2000 with Adriana Saggese and Celso Rayol.

Teacher of PUC-Rio since 2004 she also taught at the School of Interior Design of Cândido Mendes University from 1999 to 2007 and at FAU-UFRJ between 1994 and 1998.

Her works were published in several magazines, like Projeto, Casa Vogue, Casa Claudia, Finestra, Abitare, Catalogs of the International Biennial of Architecture of São Paulo and Jornal O Globo and won the prizes DECA - commercial bathroom in 2011 and Morar Carioca Contest in 2010
