REPERIMETRAL COMPETITION

The Reperimetral Competition aims at opening up a discussion about where the transformations that Rio de Janeiro is going through will lead us.

It is an invitation to students and young architects, designers and artists to a wide and purposeful discussion.

It is an ideas competition to reuse nearly 1,000 corten steel beams that will be deemed useless following the demolition of the Perimetral elevated expressway, and are owned by the municipality, which makes it even more compelling.

No wonder that even without a major award, the number of registrations is climbing. Who knows a good idea can not change the course of events?
