The workspace project deals with spaces where productive activities are carried out. Discusses, through design practice, functional activities in the specialized spaces of projects. The concept of "work production", its formalization and insertion in public and private spaces. Analysis of works similar to the given program. During design practice, issues relating to conceptualization, meaning and proposals for occupying the space are addressed and developed. The discipline is exercised by groups that come together around pre-prepared proposals, based on approved questions that guide the development of the work. Participating in the work groups are: students, teachers of project subjects who work in coordination and supervision, teachers of basic content areas, who intervene according to their specialties, and laboratory technicians who provide technological assistance.

Collective Space Project deals with spaces dedicated to the public, within a context that relates people and collective space, and analyzes places of common use such as squares, parks, leisure areas, schools, stadiums, transport stations, meeting rooms shows, cultural spaces, markets, etc. The subject discusses the role of cities as promoters of the occupation of public space as opposed to private space, in addition to the processes of occupation and identity construction that these spaces require in the context of culture.
The subject ARQ 1104 has as its theme, more than collective space, public space. Its main objective is to promote reflection on what distinguishes public architecture from private architecture. To this end, two lines of design exercises are developed: (1) projects with an emphasis on structural systems and construction methods, whose programs have an eminently public profile, as is the case of the Media Library with a public square and spaces for collective coexistence; (2) collective space projects, such as the Dance School. The themes to be explored in the first exercise are: universal accessibility, modulation, reproducibility, flexibility, adaptability, prefabrication and treatment of free areas, and in the second exercise: relationship with the surroundings, verticalization, stacking, cubing, plumb, organization of flows and constructive rationalization.

City, history and architectural memory. From restoration to conservation, preservation and recovery of historical-cultural heritage. Notions of architectural restoration. Refunctionalization and reuse of architectural spaces and underused buildings. Recycling in construction elements. Compatibility of new construction techniques and new materials with traditional techniques and materials. The recovery of historic centers. The Revitalization and Reuse Project addresses spaces of symbolic and historical importance in the city with the possibility of being used for uses appropriate to the present time. Checks the possibility of increasing the value of an area through intervention in a building in poor condition or abandoned. Various programs are studied focusing on the confrontation and integration between historical and contemporary compositional elements. The analysis of the action of time on the architectural object, on its transformation and adaptation to the current reality is carried out with a view to both preservation and renewal.
