An article recently published in Style magazine of The New York Times highlights the remarkable contribution of the new generation of Brazilian architects, especially those committed to integrating their projects harmoniously with nature and the surroundings, focusing specifically on the Rio de Janeiro region.

 

 

 

 

 

The author of the article emphasizes a series of notable references in this architectural movement, including several professionals educated at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (DAU), as well as offices composed of alumni and professors, both in undergraduate and graduate programs. Among those mentioned are Juliana Ayako, Carlos Zebulun, Ana Altberg, Vitor Garcez, Caio Calafate, and Pedro Varela of Grupo de Arquitetos (Gru.a); Alziro Carvalho Neto and Felipe Rio Branco from Gávea Arquitetos team; and Laura Rosenbusch and Gregório Rosenbusch from Venta Arquitetura.
