The research group brings together professors and students from PUC-Rio to carry out research and academic extension in urban design and planning, with interdisciplinary and multi-scalar approaches, aiming to contribute to the sustainability and resilience of neighborhoods, cities and metropolitan regions, with an emphasis on adaptation solutions for cities to face climate threats, addressing methodologies for identifying and reducing socio-climatic vulnerability and risk, climate and urban equity and justice, reducing socio-environmental inequality, informal settlements, precariousness and socio-climatic vulnerability in housing and inhabited space, resilience and urban sustainability, climate governance and climate-resilient development.
