This issue of the PRUMO Journal, dedicated to young researchers, architects, and designers, emerges as a response to the current context of disincentive to research in Brazil. In the face of budget cuts and restrictions in federal research funding agencies, the journal seeks to give a voice to the younger and more restless, offering a space for critical thinking about contemporary living. The issue covers various topics, including interviews with the Coletivo Leve and Professor Peter Cox, analyses of architectural projects, reflections on the physical infrastructure of the Internet, exploration of concepts such as polychrony and terrain vague, case studies on historical buildings and urban occupations, among others. The diversity of perspectives and topics aims to stimulate critical thinking and collective knowledge building, even amid political and health challenges.
