Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), and both a Master’s (2013) and a Ph.D. (2020) from the same university, also in Geography. A researcher and technical analyst with experience in Geosciences, he has worked in environmental consulting firms (Ecobrand Environmental Management), providing support in generating geographic databases and analyses for various projects involving Social Cartography, Geomorphological Risk Mapping, Physical-Land Management Projects, and establishing land use and land cover patterns. He also served as manager of the Geoprocessing Laboratory at PUC-Rio, participating in several important university projects, including the Physical-Land Management Project for the municipality of Resende, the Physical-Land Management Project for the municipality of Maragojipe, the Integrated Program for Remote Monitoring of Forest Fragments and Urban Growth in Rio de Janeiro, the Virtual Mapping of the PUC-Rio Campus, and the Ecological-Economic Zoning of the Municipality of Resende. Currently, he works as a professor in the Department of Geography at PUC-Rio (since 2013), teaching Cartography and Geoprocessing courses for Geography and Environmental Engineering classes, as well as Environmental Sanitation (Geography) and Environment and Sustainable Development (Architecture) courses. He also works as a consultant for the Tecgraf Institute at PUC-Rio
