Holds a degree in Mathematics from the Fluminense Federal University, where she pursued a teaching degree. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Computer Graphics, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She works as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and as Deputy Coordinator of the Mathematics Area in the Extension Directorate of the Foundation Center for Distance Higher Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Foundation CECIERJ).
