The Croquis in Architecture discipline consists of stimulating graphic dialogue, through sketches, promoting quick understanding of the essence of forms.

Drawing as a means of expressing visual thought, as a process of analyzing the constituent elements and laws of formation of structures proposed for visual perception and as a means of representation.

The discipline aims to contribute to the achievement of pleasure and freedom of drawing, in addition to reconciling the practice of observational drawing with the formation of a visual repertoire of architecture in different places in Rio de Janeiro, taking advantage of the diversity of Rio’s landscape and getting to know the city a little better, through visits to different places. Graphic representation techniques will be introduced, in addition to those used in DOI, learning and practicing the following techniques: ink (pen and brush), marker, watercolor and tempera.
