Claudia Miranda (1967-2014), Professor and Supervisor of Project IV at the School of Architecture and Urbanism, PUC-Rio.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Professor Claudia Miranda graduated as an architect and urban planner from FAU-UFRJ in 1991, where she returned to join the first class of the Master’s program in Urban Design at PROURB/UFRJ. She worked at the LPC and Azul offices before founding MIRA Arquitetura in 2000 with Adriana Saggese and Celso Rayol.
A professor at PUC-Rio since 2004, she also taught at the Interior Design School of Universidade Cândido Mendes from 1999 to 2007 and at FAU-UFRJ from 1994 to 1998.
Her work has been published in Projeto, Casa Vogue, Casa Claudia, Finestra, Abitare magazines, São Paulo International Architecture Biennial catalogs, and O Globo newspaper.
