Festival Brasil – Avenida de Possibilities aims to bring discussions about the memory and stories of Avenida Brasil, talking about the perspectives of the times, especially tomorrow.
On March 2nd, we will have a knowledge immersion where we will welcome guests to discuss Avenida Brasil on an intellectual, artistic, social and many other levels.

2pm – Panel “Thinking about the city: stories and aesthetics of Avenida Brasil” with Pedro Moraes (Architect and professor at PUC-Rio) and Mery Horta (Artist, performer and choreographer), with the mediation of Jean Carlos (curator and resident of Maré ).
4pm – Panel “Possibilities of the Future and Avenida Brasil: a discussion of the now” with the mediation of Lino Teixeira (Coordinator of the Urban Policies axis of the Observatório de Favelas) and the participation of Alexandre Silva (created by “Outros Centros – Guia Periférico Carioca das Artes”) and Marcele Oliveira (Cultural Production and Environmental Activism).
