The Department of Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Rio is pleased to invite architects Anna Juni, Enk te Winkel, and Gustavo Delonero from the 𝘃𝗮̃𝗼 architecture office for the inaugural lecture of the first semester of 2024.
Founded in 2013 in São Paulo, 𝘃𝗮̃𝗼 is a transdisciplinary office whose work navigates through the fields of architecture, urbanism, and visual arts at various scales, demands, and contexts.
Their projects are grounded in theoretical, technical, and experimental foundations, exploring characteristics of the local territory that can be incorporated into their design thinking.
Throughout their journey, 𝘃𝗮̃𝗼 has participated in biennials such as BAL (Latin American Architecture Biennial), XI BIAU (Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism), and XII São Paulo International Architecture Biennial.
They were also responsible for the architecture and exhibition design of the 35th São Paulo Art Biennial – Coreographies of the Impossible.
Among their awards are the Début Prize from the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2022), IAB-SP Prize (2021, 2019, and 2018), and Akzonobel Tomie Ohtake Institute Prize (2017).
