The round table “BÓLIDE AND CONTRA-BÓLIDE: OITICICA/RIO/NY” will discuss Hélio Oiticica and the artistic movements of the 1960s in Rio de Janeiro and New York.

The event is part of a series of discussions organized at PUC-Rio in preparation for the 10th São Paulo Architecture Biennial (X BASP), themed “City: ways of making, ways of using,” scheduled for October/November of this year.

• Frederico Coelho is a researcher, essayist, and professor of Brazilian Literature and Performing Arts at PUC-Rio.
• Sérgio Bruno Martins is an art critic and holds a Ph.D. in Art History from University College London.
