Professor of CAU PUC-Rio, Gabriel Duarte, will participate on September 27th (Tuesday) at 06:30PM at Studio-X Rio (Praça Tiradentes, 48) of the roundtable DOUBLE EXPOSURE to debate dilemmas of Amazonian development by addressing both the macro and microstructures that define this vast infrastructure biogenetic and sociocultural.

Alberto Foyo
Architect, urban planner and landscape architect, is a professor at Columbia University. Works in collaboration with local populations and focuses its work on the idiosyncrasies of indigenous peoples that make up the Amazon. Since 2007 develops a construction job and permaculture with ethnicity Mundurukú, Para, who for the second consecutive year taught workshop with their students.

Ana Maria Durán
Ana María Durán Calisto is an architect and researcher and co-director of Estudio A0 in Quito. His research efforts focus on three themes: the urbanization process in remote and fragile ecosystems such as the Amazon Basin and the Galapagos Islands, the impact of the integration of infrastructure in South America, and the forces that shape Latin American practices of contemporary design. Ana Maria is a founding member of the South America Project, an initiative led by Harvard University and a professor at the University of Quito.

Gabriel Duarte
Gabriel Duarte is one of the founders of the office CAMPO aud and Professor at PUC-Rio, where he teaches discipline that is part of the South America Project network. Was visiting professor at the Architectural Association, MIT, Harvard, among others. Received awards Tochtermann Wolf, UNESCO and Takashi Inuye the IFHP. He graduated from FAU-UFRJ, where is a doctoral candidate in PROURB, and obtained his master's degree from TU Delft, Netherlands.
